XO Prawn Sauce with Asparagus
250g Fresh Asparagus
2 Cloves of Garic finely chopped
1 Tablespoon XO Prawn Sauce
1 Tablespoon oil
Optional Salt & Pepper
- Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. (Less if you prefer a crunchy taste)
- Place blanched asparagus into ice water to cool.
- Place oil in pan with medium heat. Put garlic and XO Prawn Sauce into pan until garlic is slightly browned.
- Put asparagus back into the pan to cook for approximately 1 minute. Add optional salt & pepper if needed.
**Asparagus can be replaced by other seasonal vegetables such as Broccoli, Coliflower, Chinese vegetables, Potatoes (requires longer blanching).
