XO Prawn Sauce with Asparagus


250g Fresh Asparagus

Ice water

2 Cloves of Garic finely chopped

1 Tablespoon XO Prawn Sauce

1 Tablespoon oil

Optional Salt & Pepper



  1. Blanch the asparagus in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. (Less if you prefer a crunchy taste)
  2. Place blanched asparagus into ice water to cool.
  3. Place oil in pan with medium heat. Put garlic and XO Prawn Sauce into pan until garlic is slightly browned.
  4. Put asparagus back into the pan to cook for approximately 1 minute.  Add optional salt & pepper if needed.

 **Asparagus can be replaced by other seasonal vegetables such as Broccoli, Coliflower, Chinese vegetables, Potatoes (requires longer blanching).
